Hello there! I have a new Mini Album Monday to share. I have used Paige Taylor Evans' heart-shaped mini album cut file (picture below)! It’s the cutest album I have tried. It is so tiny. I decided to use it for a card to my oldest.
I used the fabulous Pontoon June kit from Paperissues.com. I cut the folding hearts and center hearts from a few scraps of the 12x12 pattern papers.
I used the small foam white and navy Thickers from American Crafts to spell out my sentiment.
I used 2 pieces from the Sparkle City ephemera pack by Shimelle. I also used a few puffy hearts from Elle's Studio.
For some contrast, I used the 1 and & colorful puffy stickers from Pink Fresh Studio.
I held it all together with some black and white ribbon from my stash.
It is absolutely the cutest thing ever. I plan to slip it in his backpack on the first day of school!

Hi crafty friends! I have a new Mini Album Monday to share. This project has 2 objectives. One, Mini Album Monday and two Pebbles Inc. July Travel challenge! I used the adorable Hexagon Mini Album by Paige Taylor Evans. And mostly Pebbles Inc. Oh Summertime collection!
The cutfile is very simple to cut. After, you just fold on the perforated lines to make the shape. I would suggest adding your ribbon now before you start to adhere your pictures or embellishments. This way you avoid having to take the middle hexagon apart to feed the ribbon through!
I did not want to make the album to thick so I used all flat pieces on the inside. I did add a small mat to each photo and used up some food icons from the collection!
For the top hexagon, I decided to make it a subtitle. The summer card was too cute not to use and the little watermelon was perfect for the corner.
After placing the bigger embellies down I grabbed word/word phrase stickers from other Pebbles Inc. collections to scatter around.
The only paper I used that was not from the Pebbles Inc. collection was that cute paper with the gold anchors. It was on clearance at Micheal's and I could not say no for the price!
I decorated one of the outside flaps. Very simply with the adorable mermaid and journaling card sentiment, Relax and Enjoy.
To finish my album off I added the Sunshine chipboard piece, a face button, and small foam Thickers. To help the title stand out I rubbed my fingers in the Distress Oxide ink fossilized amber and smudge it on the letters.

Hi friends. Jody here with a new mini album Monday. Today I have a tag mini album. I used the super colorful Pink Paislee Horizon collection by Paige Taylor Evans. I also used bits and pieces from Pebbles Inc. Oh Summertime collection. The adorable flip flop cutfile is from the very talented Handipaper Etsy shop.
First, I decided to make my album around 5x5 inches. I started by cutting several banner shaped sections from the Horizon collection. A quick and easy job done with my Silhouette. I also made a shaker pocket for the cover with my new Fuse Tool by We R Memory Keepers. For additional details, I cut 2 cut files from Paige Taylor Evans. I love that circle flower file and the Fantastic word file. I simply backed them with pages from the 6x8 paper pad.
I wrote on one of the journaling tags from the collection to share the date and our favorite part.
I trimmed all my pictures and added either white cardstock or vellum behind each photo.
Then I was ready to embellish. I like to add my embellies in rounds, that's the best way I can explain it! First, I like to add the larger icons and words or word phrases. Then, any smaller word stickers. Last, I like to add any small details like puffy hearts and tiny word phrases. I used several from Elle's Studio and Pretty Little Studio.
I used foam adhesive to add dimension to some of the embellishments.
I used my Crop A Dile to punch a hole on top. I used a 1-inch ring to hold it all together. I also added a few pieces of ribbon to the ring from my stash for some more color.

Hi friends. Jody here with a new mini album Monday. Today I have an accordion mini album. It is so simple to make and you can make it any size you need. On our cruise, we stopped at St. Thomas and went to a pirate museum. It was very interactive and the boys loved it! I happen to have plenty of the Echo Park's Pirate Tales collection on hand!
First, I decided to make a 6x6 album. I started by cutting 5 6x12in sections. I also cut 2 6x6in papers for a cover and back. I ended up not using a back piece. I needed room for pictures!
For my cover page, I used a fun anchor stencil from Echo Park with shiny modeling paste to cover a few sides of the pattern paper. I kept the bag that we bought gifts with and cut out the museum logo. I know I have ticket stubs somewhere! I plan to tuck those in on a few pages.
I then started to assemble the book. I did refer to my mockup album several times just to make sure I had it all correct. I added tape runner adhesive to each page as I assembled. Apparently, I need to change my cutter blade or slow down! My poor papers are not the straightest!!!
While the cover dried more, I cut down my pictures and began to fill up my book. All the pictures were printed 4x6 so I knew an inch here or there would make all the pictures fit just fine. I also backed each picture, I just like a small mat around the picture. I think it is a carryover element from my Creative Moments days!
After I placed all my pictures I was ready to embellish! I had so many chipboard stickers and flat stickers that every page got a sprinkle of fun. I love that the chipboard pieces are not too thick. The album closes nicely.
After the modeling paste dried, I adhered the museum logo down and layered a pirate ship chipboard sticker on top. I think this accordion mini album turned out great! I used up some stash and documented one part of our trip!

Hi crafty friends. It is Jody here for Mini Album Monday. First, have you seen the sneak peeks of Paige Evans new collection?!? Very exciting stuff!
So I thought I'd use up some of the beautiful Horizon collection for this album. I found a pin of this album on Pinterest and new I could do it!
First, I let my silhouette do some work by cutting the parts of this cute layered flower. It is by Paige Evans and you can find it in the Silhouette Design Store. I was not sure how big to make it but I think I guessed right! All the papers and goodies that come with the collection are spot on for traveling.
Next, I used that beautiful blue pattern paper to make the sleeves. I just eyeballed the paper and folded it. I did score the paper in 4 equal sections to make the sleeves for the tags, that hold the pictures. I then made the tags with a punch I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I backed the small pictures with vellum or pattern paper. I love to get my photos a little mat to rest on. I started adding embellishments in all the fun colors.
Once the tags were complete, with ribbon to pull them out of their pockets, I worked on a cover and back for the album. It took me a few tries to get it right but the globe pattern paper was perfect! I also attached the beautiful layered flower with all its cute parts.
There is still so much space in this album. The back parts of the tags can be filled. The pockets the tags are in can get pictures and of course, the back of the album can hold any journalling or tickets I saved.

Hi crafty friends. Its Jody here for Mini Album Monday. I have seriously fallen in love with these pocket albums. The patterned cardstock is by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby called Orange Envy! I could not pass up $4.99 for 60 sheets even if it is onesided! 😉
I used a Silhouette cut file by Lori Whitlock. I adjusted a few card edges but no major changes to the original.
Once all the parts were cut it came together quickly. I glued the envelopes together, then added the front envelope pockets, adhered the front and back covers and the mat/journal cards in the pockets. I was ready to embellish in no time.
Most of the goodies came from different Pink Fresh Studio collections. I also used a few Vicki Boutin ephemera pieces and stickers from Amy Tangerine.
I have not decided what photos I want to put in this mini album. I think it can be used for a number for different occasions especially, Summertime pictures!
